We bought the bridesmaids dresses!!!

It took us forever but after many fittings, we (Maxou) decided on the color which is CARLET.

Each girl will have a different dress since we are all shaped differently.

However, the theme is RUFFLES/WRAPS.

The Engagement Party

Being one of the bridesmaids is not that easy.

This morning: "Pat! What are you doing today?"

Me: "Mmm pretty much nothing before supper."

Her: "Okay great, so what are we up to then?"

Simply assuming that when I'm free, I'm all hers LOL

But hey, it was amazing to go shopping for her wedding dress.

It was fun to watch/help her getting into different gowns.

The sale ladies were all fussing around her like bees and bringing gowns after gowns.

She ended up choosing the perfect outfit at an affordable price in which she looks gorgeous.

So grateful this girl knows what she likes!

My parents and little brother will be in HK to attend my cousin's wedding as well as spend the holidays with me and the rest of the family! They'll be staying 3 weeks (my parents) and my brother 2 weeks.

It's pretty intense since:

• We haven't travel together since 1997 when we all went to HK together for a whole summer. We did go to Toronto a few times afterwards, but that doesn't really count.
• My dad hasn't asked for vacations since 1997.
• My dad and bro haven't taken the plane ever since.

I AM SO EXCITED :D

While I was in a bookstore doing some research for Maxou's upcoming wedding, a guy came to me and said: "Aren't you in the wrong section? Sex, drugs, rock n' roll AND WEDDING?" He then talked to me about some wedding he attended and how he hooked up with the bridesmaid.

Later on, while I was heading for the subway, another guy cried out: "IBIZA ROCKS!!!" We ended up talking about Atami where I work and which he is a regular customer.

And let's not mention the couple of guys who whistled at me in the streets.

OMG MAXOU ET JESSE SONT FIANCÉS!!!

I went to renew my passport. The lady cut off a whole chunk of my old one and decided it was best for me to upgrade to 48 instead of 24 pages.
"You travel too much, you need more pages".

And that was it. Back to square 1. A brand new virgin passport. Can't wait to corrupt it.

Okay, removing my wisdom teeth (all 4 of them within 45 min) really sucks. Can't eat anything except Lipton soups which I do like haha and yogourts. My mother didn't even bother making me congee. Staying home watching Zeste (how tortuous since I'm drooling but can't cook anything-oh wait, I can't cook period) and reading Nanny Returns. At least now, I ran out of reasons to not write my paper on Brazil. Blehhh...

Math definitely moved out of his flat on Kent street and back to his parents' place in Laval. Even though his parents' condo is super nice and right in front of a shopping center (Carrefour Laval), it's not the same as being near HEC, Atami as well as the nightbus from Guy. Luckily, we went for a 1.99$ breakfast at Blanche-Neige on CDN (since 1959) and it made me feel better.
